Algosys enters a Master Service Agreement with Vale-Inco

Quebec, Canada – April 24th, 2009 – Algosys, a leading global provider of metallurgical and production accounting solutions and services for the process industry, has signed a worldwide master service agreement with Vale-Inco and affiliates.
The agreement covers Metallurgical Accountant™, Bilmat Real-Time™ and Bilmat™ products and related services, including auditing, implementation, start-up, training, maintenance and technical support. The contract also includes provision for performing additional IT services.
Having already successfully completed several Metallurgical Accountant™ implementation projects for various Vale-Inco sites, Algosys was a natural fit for fulfilling Vale-Inco’s needs in rigorous, traceable and automated production and metallurgical accounting.
The signing of this contract reinforces Algosys’ leadership in production and metallurgical accounting solution to the mining industry. Algosys’ continuing partnership with Vale-Inco demonstrates to other leaders in the mining sector that they can rely on Algosys’ products and services for achieving their requirements in production accounting, a complex and critical task in the mining business.

An update on corporative agreement with Grupo Peñoles
Six out of nine plants are now using Metallurgical Accountant™ for fulfilling their metallurgical and production accounting needs as well as operation reporting needs. The three remaining plants, La Herradura, Bismark and Milpillas, will be equipped before the end of 2010. La Herradura and Milpillas will be the first dump/heap leaching plants using a Metallurgical Accountant™ solution.

Implementation of Metallurgical Accountant™ at Newmont Batu Hijau
Algosys was awarded the contract following a selection process between several potential providers organized and managed by an independent Australian consulting firm. The Metallurgical Accountant™ solution acquired includes several optional components in order to fulfill plant management needs in terms of metallurgical and production accounting as well as operation and production management reports. The project will initiate in August of 2010.
Batu Hijau site (Cu, Au) is located in the province of West Nusa Tenggara on the island of Sumbawa, Indonesia.

Algosys finalizes the installation of Metallurgical Accountant™ at Vale-Inco Thompson Mill, Smelter & Refinery
Quebec, Canada – May 21st, 2010 - Algosys announces that Vale-Inco has signed the Final Acceptance Certificate for the Metallurgical Accountant™ solutions installed and commissioned by Algosys at the Mill, Smelter and Refinery units of their Thompson Division in Manitoba, Canada.
