Algosys proudly announces that a major world producer of refined silver, lead and zinc has selected Algosys to standardize all their production divisions with Metallurgical Accountant™, a unique and proven solution for metallurgical accounting, reporting and management.
Algosys was awarded the contract in view of the proven flexibility, versatility and efficiency of the Metallurgical Accountant™ solution as well as for the excellent reputation, the vast experience and the high level of professionalism of the Algosys team of experts.
The project includes the installation of a centralized Metallurgical Accountant™ data warehouse.
Due to the numerous divisions that are to be equipped, the project will take 3 years to complete.

Pilot project results in the implementation of Metallurgical Accountant™ for Goro Nickel New Caledonia.
Algosys has been awarded the contract for the implementation of Metallurgical Accountant™ for the entire Goro Nickel plant of Vale-Inco in New Caledonia following a pilot project on a plant section successfully completed only a few months ago. Goro Nickel operates a complex hydrometallurgical process for recovering Nickel. Algosys' mass balance engine Bilmat™ proves its efficiency, once again, at solving hydrometallurgical mass balances. The project will be completed in December 2008.
